Discover the exciting freedom and versatility of combining drawing and painting! Explore mixed media techniques on elegant surfaces to create everything from high realism to expressive portraits, still life, florals, animals, landscapes, and experimental abstract works. Enjoy lively discussions, innovative projects for all levels, inspiring demonstrations, and constructive critiques. We’ll be working with charcoal, graphite, gold leaf, glitter (!), soft pastel, coloured pencil, ink, and water-based paints on mylar, paper, washi, and birch wood. All levels welcome (intermediate recommended).

Choose from an array of immersive experiences including painting, photography, pottery, rug hooking, stained and fused glass, decoy carving, quilting, creative writing, small press printmaking, culinary arts, dry stone structures, yoga and art, stitching, youth courses, and more.

  • $420 inc. hst

  • $380 inc. hst for 55+

Class hours, unless otherwise noted, are 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Pottery courses may run on Saturdays to allow for additional work and kiln time. Material lists will be emailed to students by April 1.
