Pencils to Petals

CA$120.00

Find your flow and discover the hidden potential of colored pencil crayons and watercolour. Flowers are the perfect subject to explore the magic of colour blending, layering and light. In a relaxed, supportive environment, Sharlena Wood will guide you step-by-step through the process of building luminosity, depth and textures. Using the humble colored pencil, we will dive deep into the botanical world and explore variations of realism and expressionism. You won’t just be drawing a flower; you’ll be learning to see the subtle shifts in temperature and value that make a petal look velvety and alive. No matter your skill level, your art is ready to bloom.

Coloured Pencil Crayons are often tucked away in junk drawers or associated with childhood, but they are actually a powerhouse of professional-grade precision! Bring your coloured pencil crayons, whether they are traditional wax or oil based or water-soluable + a splash of watercolour paints!

Art is not about perfection; it’s about the joy of observation. Let’s slow down, look closer, and let your creativity bloom from the comfort of your own home.
